Conflicting “Cause of Death” Findings In George Floyd’s Death
(UnitedVoice.com) – The revelations keep coming in the George Floyd case. Two Independent medical examiners hired by Floyd’s family have determined the cause of death differed from the original findings.
The independent autopsy report released by family attorney, Benjamin Crump, indicates that Floyd died of “asphyxiation from sustained pressure.” This contradicts the Minneapolis county medical examiner, who stated the cause of death was “cardiopulmonary arrest complicating law enforcement subdual, restraint and neck compression.”
Former New York City Chief Medical Examiner, Dr. Michael Baden, said in a news conference no other health issues contributed to Floyd’s death other than what was seen on video. He also added police have a false impression that if a person can talk, they can also breathe — which is obviously not true.
Thousands across the country continue to protest — both peacefully and violently — to condemn the death of George Floyd at the hands of police. President Trump has urged states to call on the National Guard to help control the violence. He warned that if they didn’t, he would send in the US military.
This continues to be an ongoing situation.
