The intolerant and extremely violent Black Lives Matter terrorist group promotes the value of African American lives over all else. Their mission is to stop police violence and to elevate African American people to that equal of everyone else.
In many of their minds, they believe that they are still living in the oppressive 1800s. They believe that they are still segregated and persecuted because of the color of their skin.
So, they are marching around demanding equality, or so people are being led to believe that is their mission.
BLM has taken credit for the murder of several African American souls in the past few weeks. Their group is responsible for two lives in Seattle, one in Atlanta and an officer of color.
Their people are also turning to remove statues of would-be oppressors in an attempt to rewrite American history. They simply want their selfish version of American history. BLM no longer supports life, because they have taken many lives away from people that had nothing to do with their past.
They no longer want history told the way it has been for decades because it talks about slavery. One would think that they would want a person to know about the violent past, so it is never repeated.
BLM protestors took to the streets and recklessly started attacking statues and monuments without ever truly understanding what the meaning behind them all was about. Protestors in Rochester, New York took it upon themselves to destroy and drag off a statue of a black abolitionist and freed slave Frederick Douglass.
The statue was found near the river. Carvin Eison helped build the statue and he stated that “It’s really sad because here in Rochester the statue of Frederick Douglass has always been a face of good.”
This was a man that did a lot to help stop slavery in America. Douglass and Harriet Tubman were two people that helped free slaves that were on the run and seeking freedom. This is one statue that one would think the BLM group would leave alone.
The destruction happened on the anniversary of his famous speech in 1852 called “What to the Slave is the Fourth of July.” The freed slave stated that “I am not included within the pale of this glorious anniversary! Your high independence only reveals the immeasurable distance between us. The blessings in which you, this day, rejoice, are not enjoyed in common.”
He was a man that fought for equality when it was really needed.
The sad protestors today have no clue what the true slaves went through. They have no idea what the northern parts of the country did to help end slavery in the south. The BLM group is ignorant of its history.
Their agenda is not about equality. It is about pushing a Democratic planted idea that they are somehow oppressed and need to have things given to them on a golden plate instead of working for it themselves.
Theodore Roosevelt was the governor of New York when Douglass’ speech took place. He was in attendance and in support of what was said. The then-mayor of the city was George E. Warner.
He would state that “It is fitting that it should stand near a great portal of our city where the thousands who enter it may see that she is willing to acknowledge to the world that her most illustrious citizen was not a white man.”
Not all people of history were oppressive like the BLM group maintains today. They just don’t know their history.
Sadly, people like Andrew Cuomo and Bill de Blasio are in full support of the destructive nature of BLM. Cuomo stated “People are making a statement about equality, about community, to be against racism, against slavery. I think those are good statements.”
While at the same time de Blasio approved the removal of key statues around the city. BLM and the Democratic Party hate America.
They want a self-driven socialist form of government that can and will only benefit them as the leaders of such an institution.
